2:00-3:30 pm window to start. Begin anytime in this window.

If you wish, receive an introduction to the app’s gameplay from us before the start.

We estimate the hunt will take 60-90 minutes to complete, including 2 to 2.5 miles of walking and exploring.

If you are using the iPhone app, make sure it is updated after Friday morning. (Check under Profile | Settings to be sure you are on version 1.3.2)

The introduction, hunt start and hunt ending will be at Rice Park, the one square block green space in downtown St. Paul between the Landmark Center, Ordway, Library and St. Paul Hotel.

Find us: near the fountain in the center. We’ll have a clipboard and be wearing Our Treasure Hunt T-shirts.

Forecast: Sunday’s afternoon forecast calls for plenty of sunshine and crisp Autumn air!

Prize: Every finisher receives a swag Our Treasure Hunt T-shirt, while supplies last. If there is a big crowd, they may run out early. The team that completes the hunt the fastest over the course of the afternoon will receive $30 cash to help offset cost of their victory celebration.

Social distancing: During the hunt, there is no need to congregate with anybody outside your immediate team, and no need to touch anything.

** We are also staggering the start times. No more than 3 teams will start every 5 minutes.

Competitive Event hunt — This is an “event” hunt. There are no skipping clues or requesting hints in an event hunt.  However, clues do have a time out which you can see counting down on screen, in case you are stuck on a clue. And, at two-thirds of the time out time, the exact location of the answer is revealed on the map as a hint.

The winner will be based on total time to do the hunt, so don’t click the “Join” or “Start” button until you’re ready to start. The winning time will be determined no later than 4:45pm, earlier if possible.

It’s free to compete in the event hunt. The app is free and, in fact, everything on the Our Treasure Hunt platform is free at this time. 

There are absolutely no ads either. Have a peaceful time with no distractions!
