  • Read summaries, leave and read hunt reviews, and view leaderboards.

  • Get started writing your own hunt right from your phone on location.

  • Make your hunt private or public.

  • Give your new hunt a title, a location, and rate its difficulty and duration for prospective users.

  • Add any number of clues to your hunts.  Clues are primarily composed of text and lead to a location where the clue can be solved.

  • Clues also have images — a photo, a hand drawn treasure map or other illustration.

  • Include a photo of you answer location for your users to confirm after they complete it.

  • Set a duration on any clue.

  • Make your hunt map-based by giving your clues bounds. The bounds tells your users where to focus their search.

  • Specify the exact location of your clue answer on a map, for revealing as a hint when your users are stuck.

  • Hide a treasure at the end of your hunt — a real treasure, a cache or other object, or simply a discovery for your players.

  • Create a competitive “event” hunt which starts at a specific date and time, and allows for no skipping clues or other hint options.

  • Add a descriptive introduction and overall photo for your hunt.  

  • Test the hunt on your phone. Revise and improve your hunt and then publish it when you are ready.
